Successful SBRI awards

The West of England AHSN has been involved in a number of successful SBRI bids. Through SBRI-led challenges we have helped facilitate £6.5m of funding for projects focussed on patient safety, medicines adherence and child and adolescent mental health.

Veraz develop products that enable businesses to ensure their staff adhere to best practice protocols.

Mayden Phase 1 2013 – Mental Health , Phase 2 2014 – Mental Health
For the development of an online hub enabling IAPT services to easily prescribe, review, select and book proven, cost-effective online treatment for patients, from live therapy sessions by video link to self-guided CBT programs and apps, and to track patient progress during their use of these online therapies.

Digital Algorithms Phase 1 2016 – Self-care: General Practice of the Future
Developing the concept of social prescribing into an integrated service user-focused system using data from various sources and the development of a brand new purpose-built software platform, ROVa.
