Working with universities and research institutes

Universities and other research bodies are key to the continuous enhancement of healthcare services through the insights and evidence that they provide in support of new innovations, ways of working and the appropriate treatment of patients.

We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and the West of England as well as the West of England Local Clinical Research Network and Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research & Care.

Our work with the research community:

  • 15 projects with universities supporting research and innovation programmes
  • £6m plus grants secured for joint projects with our academic partners
