Can we get patients and the public involved in our innovative developments?

We actively promote co-production and co-design with citizens, including patients, carers, family, friends and anyone interested in getting involved from the initial ideas stage of new products and solutions through to testing and development.

We launched an initiative called Design Together, Live Better which was designed to engage patients and members of the public in suggesting new products for independent living. Over 100 members of the public came to our workshops in Bath, Bristol, Gloucester and Swindon. As a result, 12 ideas were shortlisted and three have now gone forward to the design stage.

You can find out more about the project on www.designtogetherlivebetter.org or contact our Enterprise Engagement Co-ordinator, nada.khalil@weahsn.net
