James joined the WEAHSN in November 2020 and is currently working with the Service and System Transformation Team, initially, with a focus on Mental Health. As a senior project manager James works collaboratively with colleagues within the AHSN and partner organisations across the region.
Having previously practised as a social worker, and with an MSc in Project Management, James has experience of planning and commissioning and programme and project management within a range of NHS provider trusts, commissioning organisations and at the North East London STP. His work to date has included: supporting vulnerable adults; work with homecare and care home providers; implementing new legislation; designing and developing innovative mental health services; and transformation within acute care settings.
