Kate is a Senior Project Manager in the Service and System Transformation team, and is currently working on sharing innovation and improvement methodologies across the region through the Innovation Academy programme.
To compliment this work, Kate is completing a Masters in Public Health at the University West of England. She has worked on a variety of projects at the AHSN from early stage support for innovators, through to using Quality Improvement techniques that support the adoption of new products and services.
Kate joined the AHSN in March 2017 following a career as a secondary science teacher and outside of work can often be found rowing in Bristol harbour.
“I love working at the West of England AHSN as I’m inquisitive and love learning. There are lots of opportunities to learn about the healthcare sector from disease areas, commissioning of services, technical innovations and much more! I’m also a collaborator and enjoy bringing people together to meet and share experiences – I enjoy starting a new project as it gives me the excuse to meet new people and learn from them.”
