Kate is a Senior Project Manager in the Service and System Transformation team and joined the AHSN in 2017. She uses her teaching and learning skills, acquired through qualifications and experiences as a Secondary School teacher, to share innovation and improvement methodologies across the region through the Innovation Academy programme. She also uses her MSc in Public Health and experiences of developing and adopting healthcare innovations to manage transformation projects. She is currently working with Primary Care colleagues across the region to support people living with long term health conditions.

Outside of work, Kate volunteers with Action for Children and sits on the Board for Knowle West Health Park.

“I love working at the West of England AHSN as I’m inquisitive and love learning. There are lots of opportunities to learn about the healthcare sector from disease areas, commissioning of services, technical innovations and much more! I’m also a collaborator and enjoy bringing people together to meet and share experiences – I enjoy starting a new project as it gives me the excuse to meet new people and learn from them.”
