Claire Denyer joined Health Innovation West of England in June 2022 as a Project Manager, working within the innovation and growth team. Her role sees her work with innovators to help them develop their value propositions to a point where their innovations may be ready for either proof of value project or deployment. As part of this, Claire  has led on the Health Innovation Programme (HIP) and providing support to SBRi applicants.

Claire joined us from Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership and brings with her a wealth of experience of working as a mental health nurse in frontline mental health services. Within this time, she has specialised in the field of personality disorder and complex trauma, working as a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist and Structured Clinical Management Therapist in inpatient and community settings. Claire has additionally managed a mental health service, within the voluntary sector, as well as setting up and supporting CCG-funded projects for improving mental health care for people across North Somerset.
