After completing Paediatric Specialist training from Severn Denary in 2012 Dr Keshava Girish Gowda has been working at The Great Western Hospital (GWH), Swindon as a Consultant Paediatrician with special interest in Neonatology. He is a co-Neonatal lead and patient safety champion for the GWH Neonatal services.
He is actively involved in many local and national quality improvement projects. He is specifically known for his work on GWH Avoid Term Admission Into Neonatal unit (ATAIN) project. GWH remains one of the few units in the country to maintain ATAIN rate less than 3.6% consistently for last few years.
He was shortlisted for a BAPM award for Improving Quality in Perinatal Care in 2019 and he was 2019 Finalist in GWH Staff Excellence Awards under the category “Learning from excellence”.
