We recently launched two open innovation challenges on ‘Young People and Mental Health Resilience’ and on ‘Keeping Healthy at Home’. We are looking for organisations which will ultimately be capable of supplying their product or service on a commercial basis in response to these health and care challenges.

The successful projects will be selected primarily on their potential value to the local health economy and on the improved outcomes delivered for service users. £40,000 is available to innovators to pilot their solutions in one of our healthcare member organisations.

Deadline is 23 April 2019, 5pm

This is a procurement call for products and services already on the market. Briefing documents and the application form will be available on the Bravo Solutions platform. For further information, please email innovation@weahsn.net

The Future challenge: Young People and Mental Health Resilience

Our priorities in the West of England focus on two areas: 1) building and promoting resilience 2) early identification.

  • What if…we could use digital technology to help support the emotional wellbeing of children, young people and the community with building resilience and prevent mental health issues?
  • What if… we could identify needs earlier, to provide support to children and young people and prevent serious or further problems developing?

Support offered: £40,000 is available to pilot your solution in one of our healthcare member organisations, plus the opportunity to have the project evaluated.

Stage of innovation: on the market

Open to: companies

The Future Challenge: Keeping Healthy at Home

Our priorities in the West of England focus on two areas: 1) staying well and confident, and out of hospital 2) staying connected and supported.

  • What if… we had technology, knowledge and the confidence to manage our own condition as an expert. This includes education for services users, their carers and healthcare professionals.
  • What if… technology could keep people safe at home e.g. predict when people are at risk of issues such as falls.

Support offered: £40,000 is available to pilot your solution in one of our healthcare member organisations, plus the opportunity to have the project evaluated.
