Are you fed up of getting socks for Christmas? How about these socks with a lifesaving message? Red striped socks from the Fiona Elizabeth Agnew Trust (FEAT) have been worn by NHS staff across the country to raise awareness on sepsis.

Every year in the UK there are 150,000 cases of sepsis, resulting in a staggering 44,000 deaths – more than bowel, breast and colon cancer combined.
