The use of the National Early Warning Score (NEWS) is having a positive impact on patient safety across the West of England.
At this event we will…
• celebrate what’s being achieved
• review the progress of NEWS in a range of local settings: hospitals, the ambulance service, community health, primary care, and mental health
• establish our ambitions for a system-wide approach and explore the relevance of NEWS in primary care
• discuss the technological opportunities and obstacles
• explore how NEWS supports our work around sepsis
• share lessons and ideas
• set future priorities and agree our next steps.
