Quality Improvement for pharmacy teams  –  from 1 March 2022

Developed by our West of England Academy and Medicines teams, join this free introductory and interactive series or individual 90-minute workshops from 1 March.

The West of England AHSN, with Kinneir Dufort, is hosting a free online workshop over two mornings on 22 March and 7 April. The free workshops are aimed at those interested in learning more about developing a physical healthcare product or app, and the importance of considering end users throughout the process.

Explore an introduction to healthcare innovation with our free four-week online training course developed with the University of Bath and hosted by Future Learn.

Whilst the course content will be continually available to learners via the Future Learn platform, the lead educators will be available during March to answer questions and respond to comments.

Improvement Fundamentals developed by NHS England

Programme of online, self-directed mini-courses in quality improvement (QI) for those involved in heath or social care services. The programme covers four essential learning areas: quality improvement theory, quality improvement tools, measuring for quality improvement and spreading quality improvement.

Clinical Entrepreneur Programme

Available to clinical, NHS staff and wider health professionals to develop their entrepreneurial aspirations during their clinical training period. Training offers include funding for higher education, mentoring and time to complete entrepreneurial activities. Check the website for details on the application process.

Health Economic Leadership and Management (HELM) Programme

If you are interested in health economics, transformational leadership, collaborative management, efficient working and entrepreneurship then you are an ideal candidate for The HELM Programme. HELM is an accredited programme primarily for NHS staff in the South West region.
