RESTORE2 Full – online workshop

1.5 hours

RESTORE2 Full includes training on taking physical observations, including using pulse oximeters, and calculating the NEWS2 (national early warning score) and is suitable for all non-registered care staff, as well as being a refresher or upskilling for registered staff. It builds on the learning from the RESTORE2 mini session.

RESTORE2 Mini – e learning

RESTORE2 mini is for non-registered care staff, carers and paid support staff who are not expected to perform observations, and covers “soft signs” of deterioration and structured communication. This free, online training is particularly suitable for non-medical care settings, such as residential homes and supported living, as well as for domiciliary care providers.

This eLearning module is available to every carer throughout the UK.

Non-registered care assistants and support workers working in a care setting

Non-clinical and administrative staff working in a care provider setting

Carers supporting people in their own home

Carers or care providers for someone with a learning disability

Train the Trainer – online workshop

The train-the-trainer session will give those who have responsibility for training and supporting others the skills and confidence to deliver RESTORE2 Full and Mini sessions.

Who is it for?

GPs, care home support teams

Clinical skills trainers, or other staff with a training role

Nurses, AHPs and other healthcare professionals working in care providers
