Delegate information: How could robotics and autonomous systems change frontline health and social care?

Thanks for registering to be part of the second in the series of Future of Care events which aims to raise awareness and knowledge of the future facing developments that are fast approaching the NHS.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Robotics and Autonomous Systems event on Thursday 30 January and have compiled some useful information below that will help you navigate the day.  We’ve gone paperless, but don’t let that prevent you from printing off any of the below documents and bringing it along with you on the day, alternatively if you’d like to join the paperless community then please save this link so that you can access it on your mobile phones or tablets on the day.

Parking and travel: Complimentary car parking is available at the venue, although the venue operates with a camera eye. This will require all drivers to register their vehicle number plate on arrival with our events team. Failure to register your vehicle will result in £100 fine.

If you are travelling by train, the nearest station is Bristol Parkway. Taxis are available outside of the station, and the journey will take no more than 5 mins (without traffic) we would also advise to book your return taxi journey well in advance.

Arrival: On arrival to the hotel, please make your way through the Academy to the Sequoia suite. Registration and refreshments will be available from 9.15am with the first plenary session starting at 9:45am. 

Refreshments and lunch: We will be providing complimentary hot vegetarian buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement and have not already informed us please contact us at events@weahsn.net

Tour of Bristol Robotics Laboratory: Following the event, the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) will swing open their doors to provide you with the opportunity to visit their state of art facilities. Places are strictly limited and pre-booking is required. To book your place email events@weahsn.net. Details will be sent to you after booking has been made. The tour will last 45mins and will take place between 4.30 – 5.15pm.

No longer able to join?: If you can no longer make this event please do let us know by cancelling your Eventbrite booking or drop us an email at events@weahsn.net as although the event is free to attend there will be a discretionary £40 charge for anyone that has registered and does not attend without letting us know.
