The South West and West of England Academic Health Science Networks are delighted to announce the sixth regional Community of Practice: Innovation needs on neurodiversity pathways for children and young people (CYP) which be held on Tuesday 18 April, 2pm- 3.30pm on Microsoft Teams. Sign up here to receive your joining link.

This edition will focus on the topic of ‘Pre and post Diagnostic support including the use of key workers and case coordination’ and will be co-chaired by regional colleagues:

  • Sue Newman (Head of Service, Children’s Community Health Services at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust)
  • Rachel Chatfield  (Lead Clinical Psychologist, Neuro Developmental Assessment Team (NDAT) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder Assessment Team (ASDAT) at Children’s Care Management Centre, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust).

The objective of the CoP is to establish a cross regional, supportive network to share challenges, experiences and best practice on areas for innovation on the neurodevelopment/neurodiversity pathways as directed by the network. It’s an opportunity to share and learn with regional colleagues such as commissioners, service leads and clinicians.
