Event summary

NHS England will be hosting four workshops across England to bring together Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) leads with local delivery partners to focus on End of Life Care (EoLC).

Purpose

These workshops will demonstrate how by improving EoLC you can deliver ‘next steps’ priorities, including urgent and emergency care, cancer, financial sustainability and personalisation and choice. The workshops provide an opportunity to learn what practical changes can be made to improve EoLC locally, create the positive energy for change and meet delivery partners who can help you to achieve your goals.

The events will be expertly facilitated by ‘Horizons’ who have designed the workshops using an adapted Accelerated Learning Event methodology. This approach will enable delegates to become co-producers and investors in plans and the structure of the day will allow you to work in an asset-based way, to surface and promote the positive action taking place.”

Who will attend?

These workshops are aimed at Strategic Transformation Partnership (STP) leaders and clinical leads, and those who can support the leads to include EoLC in their strategic transformation plans. Attendees will include AHSNs, CCGs, providers, RightCare Delivery partners, Health & Wellbeing Board members and other experts in EoLC. It is vital that every STP is represented.

These events will be of particular interest and relevance to STP leads from the following areas:

  • Mental Health
  • Primary Care
  • Cancer
  • Personalisation of Care
  • Urgent and Emergency care
