Implementing the outputs from a successful test into operational practice requires good project management and communication skills.
A useful approach is to involve those colleagues as early as possible who will be directly responsible for making the changes happen at a local level. This helps to gain their input into the improvements so they have a ‘stake’ in making sure changes are successfully delivered and the benefits (quality of care, efficiency or economic) realised.
