To support staff and organisations working to make improvements in health care quality, the Academy has drawn together a range of resources.
These will provide an overview of quality improvement and a useful framework to use when undertaking projects. There are a number of methods and tools summarised for selective use at various stages of improvement as well as further more detailed resources listed for each.
Alongside these, the West of England AHSN has developed a number of toolkits for specific programmes which will be available from this site.
The following section covers:
- What is quality improvement: an overview
- The Improvement Journey
A systematic approach to improvement
- Sharing great practice
Examples of successful improvement projects from across the West of England
- West of England AHSN toolkits
A range of toolkits developed within West of England AHSN programmes, including ‘evidence and evaluation’, atrial fibrillation and Prevention of Cerebral Palsy in PreTerm Labour (PReCePT).
