Sepsis

The South and West Regional Sepsis working group held a second Quality Improvement Masterclass on Sepsis Management on Wednesday 10 June.

48 people attended the event and 83 people from 25 organisations are now signed up to the sepsis mailing list for future events. 94 per cent of attendees gave the event an overall rating of ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’.

Attendees commented that the masterclass provided a good chance to network and stimulate idea generation; they also enjoyed the variety of people within different settings trying to improve the detection of and management of sepsis.

Feedback from delegates suggested that Clinical Commissioning Group representatives and input from specialists in paediatrics and maternity would be welcome at the next event.

The summary of the session is available to download here.

Plans are being made for the third Masterclass in the series in November 2015.
