The NHS Transformathon is a free, 24-hour, online event bringing together health and care staff and service users to connect, share and learn from each other. It starts at 4pm on Wednesday 27 January and runs until 4pm on Thursday 28 January.

NHS Transformathon will showcase the latest innovations, practices and methodologies to inspire you with ways to make change happen.

Everyone joining in will be able to connect with world-leading change experts and people of different disciplines from many countries, to share experiences of success and lessons learned. Each session will bring together change leaders, health and care professionals and patients to discuss how they are making practical changes to improve their local health and care services and the methods they are using to do this.

Hear how patient leadership, co-production, social media and human-centred design are directly improving outcomes for patients. Among the topics, find out how to improve health and care services through prototyping, crowdsourcing, measuring data, and using film.

As well as the main sessions several live hack events will also be taking place, working to address local issues and develop solutions.

The NHS Transformathon starts at 4pm (GMT) on Wednesday 27 January 2016, and will be live at theedge.nhsiq.nhs.uk/transformathon. The full event will run for 24 hours and has been designed so that viewers can dip in and out throughout the day or search for sessions that particularly interest them. All the sessions will be available after the event to watch on catch up for those that cannot join live.
