Here’s today’s Monday Briefing, with latest updates on our relicensing and change journey.
Transition project structure
As discussed at the away day, there will be four workstreams:
- Developing the business model
- HR and organisational development
- Communications and engagement
- Application process.
In addition, there will be a fifth workstream for the year running alongside these focusing on ‘Delivering the AHSN business plan’, AKA business as usual.
Kevin Hunter will be spending some of his time for the next few months as the Lead for the transition programme and will be managing the ‘virtual’ Programme Management Office. Leads for each of the workstreams will be agreed this week, along with small project teams, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ensure you can get involved with some of the key decisions.
AHSN self-assessment questionnaire
As part of the assessment process, each AHSN has to submit a questionnaire to NHS England. This has to be in by 23 February and so is the main focus of attention this week.
It’s great that some of you have already been submitting questions for our new Frequently Asked Questions page. If you have any new questions for the page, please email these through to Vanesther or, if you’d prefer to remain anonymous, use the box in the office.
We also now have a dedicated email address that you can use if you want to ask a question, but don’t want it to appear on the FAQ page. This is firstname.lastname@example.org. Presently only Emma Roberts and I have access to this, so please be assured of your confidentiality.
That’s it for now. We’ll provide more information on the plans for the four workstreams next week, and in the meantime if anything is troubling you, please feel free to have a word with either Emma or me.
