Event summary

Do you have an innovative health solution with the potential to simultaneously improve clinical and financial outcomes within the NHS? Are you looking to work collaboratively with NHS teams to deliver a rapid, robust evaluation in a real world setting?

On the 26th March, NHS England together with the Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) invited innovators from the UK and globally to express an interest in deploying and testing their innovations in the flagship ‘test beds’ initiative.

Test beds will serve as real world sites for evaluating ‘combinatorial’ innovations that integrate new technologies with new ways of delivering health services – and that offer the prospect of better care, and better patient experience of care, at lower overall cost.

Join us in London on 21st May from 14:30 to 18.00 for a briefing session where you will learn about the programme and application process.

Use this link to request your invitation. For any other questions about the event, please contact aline@health2con.com.

A further Q&A session will be held via webinar at 18:00 – 19:00 GST on 27th May. Register your interest to attend here.

The programme

  • Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England, will share his vision for test beds and how it fits within the NHS Five Year Forward View.
  • Test beds programme leaders will explain the application process and requirements.
  • NHS leaders from potential test bed sites will dig deeper into their specific challenges and needs.
  • A Q&A session will give innovators an opportunity to ask any questions they have about the programme.

For further information about the programme, its objectives and to access the application form, please read the test beds prospectus.
